(01) — Why we started
The stretch nobody talks about.
Dogs don't slow down all at once. It's a skipped jump onto the couch. A longer pause at the bottom of the stairs. A stiffer first ten minutes of the morning that wasn't there last winter.
There's a long stretch between noticing that and anything a vet needs to see — and in that stretch most owners feel fairly useless. Loovi was built for that stretch. Not to replace your vet. Just something to do at home, on the couch, in the ten minutes before bed.

What we decided not to do.
There is an easier version of this business. Buy a few reviews. Promise a result in fourteen days. Put “vet-recommended” across the homepage and hope nobody asks which vet. We're not running that version.
That costs us sales. We've made our peace with it.
